The series consists of CDs of oral histories initially completed as part of the University's Community and Culture Project. The interviewer was professional historian, Rob Linn and interviewees are Ray Beckwith, Dr Barbara Kidman, Dr Basil Hetzel, Professor Hugh Stretton, Professor John Prescott, Dr John Cooper, Emeritus Professor Horst Lucke, Professor Trevor Wilson and Sam Jacobs.
Later additions are two interviews undertaken at the time of the demolition of the Mathematics Building in 2007 with Dr Bob Clarke and Professor Ernie Tuck.
Also included are interviews from 2010 undertaken for the Heritage Buildings project. These were also conducted by Rob Linn with two participants per interview - Vice-Chancellor James McWha and Vice-President Services and Resources Paul Duldig; Property Services Manager Barry Michels and Maintenance Manager Paul Jenkins; Deupty Vice-Chancellor Fred McDougall and Director of Planning and Quality Gary Martin.
In 2012, former University employee Stephen Beaumont volunteered to undertake further interviews. These include Professor Joe Wiskich, Dr Alan Brissenden and Professor John Keeler.
In 2014, Roseworthy graduate David Spencer transcribed interviews with former staff and associates from the Roseworthy Agricultural College, and later conducted a series of interviews. The subjects include Cliff Hooper, Frank Hilton, Jack Daly, Bill and Keith Farley and Rex Krause.
There is also an undated and incomplete interview with Professor John A Prescott conducted by Dr Philip Tow which has been transferred from audio cassette.Later interviews are in mp3 format only. Earlier interviews also have electronic copies and/or transcripts.
