Gulielma 'Guli' Hack was born on 17 October 1867in North Adelaide, South Australia.
She was a winner of the Elder Scholarship of Music and also studied in London.
Gulielma, best known as Guli Hack, was a noted soprano, pianist and singing teacher (1898-1909) associated with the Elder Conservatorium of Music and granddaughter of John Barton Hack.
On 5 March 1910 Gulielma Hack married William Magarey.They had no children.
She died aged 83 on 2 August 1951 and is buried at North Road Cemetery, Nailsworth.
