She is currently a Visiting Research Fellow in GSSA. Her areas of research include the representation of women’s politicians in the media; social movements’ use of alternative media and their representation in mainstream media, and representation, identity expression and work within the fashion industry.
When not involved in academia she enjoys travel to remote areas of Australia; canine companionship; and is involved in native plant/bush conservation and regeneration.
