Sue was primarily involved in the Bachelor of Social Sciences and was Head of Department between 2009 and 2013. Her research on waterfront developments and urban planning included a gendered approach to urban planning and social justice issues. Since 2014 Sue has been Head of the School of Social Sciences, the School in which the Gender Studies and Social Analysis (GSSA) Department is located.
