Biography

Pam was born in Greece. Pam’s connection to Gender Studies at the University of Adelaide began in 1995 ‎with a Graduate Diploma in Women’s Studies. Her interest in feminist ‎theories and the way they incorporate or reject traditional philosophical ideas led ‎to a PhD titled,‎ ‘Derridean Deconstruction and Feminism: Exploring Aporias ‎in Feminist Theory and ‎Practice’‎. More recently Pam's research explores the ‎intersections between, gender, race and class in Australia, focusing on the significance of ethnic cultural maintenance for second and third generation Australians. ‎ Pam is currently a full-time lecturer in the Department of Gender Studies and Social ‎Analysis (GSSA).‎
