Professor Francis George Jarrett - Economics, 1981

Professor Frank Jarrett graduated with a B. Sc. Agr. from the University of Sydney in 1945.

The first appointee to the Economics faculty of University of Adelaide with doctoral studies in agricultural economics, Frank began his career as a lecturer in the Economics Department under the leadership of Professor Peter Karmel in 1952, where he taught courses on agricultural organisation, agricultural policy, economic statistics and econometrics. Frank went on to lecture from 1953 to 1988. 

Frank was also a Member of the University of Adelaide Council from 1978 to 1988.
