First published in July 1897, 'The Student' was a magazine produced two to three times a year by the Roseworthy Old Collegians Association [ROCA] with assistance from past and present students. From 1932, it was published annually.

Early issues include the Principal's Address and Roll of Students, along with poems, articles and updates on graduates. There are also reports and photographs of sporting and other social events.
