In 2013, the University pioneered veterinary care by establishing South Australia’s first equine hospital as part of the Equine Health and Performance Centre at the Roseworthy Campus. Over the years, this hospital has evolved into a multifaceted centre, extending its expertise to small animals and pathology.
Boasting purpose-built facilities, including operating theatres, recovery stalls, and advanced imaging equipment, the hospital provides a comprehensive range of services. From routine checkups to 24/7 emergency consultations, the dedicated veterinarians, technicians, and students work collaboratively to ensure the best possible care for all animals.
Notably, the equine hospital, a state-of-the-art facility within the Roseworthy campus, has garnered attention for its expansive operating rooms equipped with lifting facilities and hydraulic tables—a reflection of its commitment to advanced equine healthcare.
