Receiving electrode consisted of several annular rings with a gap of 0.25mm. The electrodes are made from Brightray (nickel/chrome 80/20 alloy) and subsequently gold plated by Weapons Research Establishment. Presentation gift is mounted onto a polished round wood base, with perspex cover and etched inscription.
